The unprovoked attack began on a frightening morning in late February. Ukraine, one of the poorest countries in Europe, is also known as the “Bible Belt” and early center for Christianity. Of the 42 million Ukrainians, seventy eight percent are Christians. President Volodymyr Zelensky, who is Jewish, is determined to stay in Ukraine and take a stand rather than flee. He is setting an example for the rest of the country. At this point we are partnering with a missionary and five churches in Ukraine.
The Pastor in the picture works with various churches in outreach. Since the fighting, he has assisted women and children to safety and continues to feed the poorest of the poor. He ministers on the Western side of Ukraine in Boryslav. His church is turned into a refugee center for those fleeing where the main part of the fighting is. They are coveting your prayers.
Will you join me in praying for Ukraine?
Will you join me in praying that our ministry partners will have continued boldness in taking a firm stand for the Gospel and that God will protect, provide and strengthen them in the days ahead?
Thank you for your prayers for our brothers and sisters in Ukraine. Because of your generosity we have been able to send funds for emergency food, housing, blankets and medical care. We will continue to help with those within Ukraine that are taking a stand for the Gospel. One of our ministry partners took his wife and children to the border and has gone back to help others. These brave men and women need our prayers now more than ever.
Future generations of Ukranians will be impacted by our prayers.
